The BAY’s Give-to-Lincoln-Day Reverse Telethon!

What is the Reverse Telethon?
The BAY Reverse Telethon is the don’t-miss philathropic party of the year! It’s a retro themed peer-to-peer fundraising event and celebaration with 100 of Lincoln’s biggest and funnest change makers. Sign up to be a Telethoner, and raise $250 or more per attendee through your own custom online pledge raising page!
Donations will be matched by local businesses, Bay supporters and The Lincoln Community Foundation on Give to Lincoln Day!
On the day of the event, we’ll confirm our donations and get the party started!
How does it work?
Telethoners will have 18 days to raise $250 in donation pledges by harassing friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and strangers to make a donation to The BAY on Give-to-Lincoln Day (Don’t worry, we’re only asking you to raise $250.00 in pledges, and we’ll give you all the tools you need to succeed).
Each Telethoner will have an easily sharable online “campaign page” from which donors can make pledges and donations between May 1st and May 18th.
On Thursday May 18th, aka Give to Lincoln Day, we’ll all get together at The BAY for the Reverse Telethon Event where we will send text message, emails and telegrams, make phone calls or send homing pigeons out to our pledgees to confirm they’ve made their donation on The BAY’s Give to Lincoln Day donation page!
It’s going to be the event of the year with confetti, balloons, entertainment, drinks and a few epic surprises…so don’t miss it! There will also be great prizes awarded for:
highest number of donors
first to meet their goal
most donations raised
